Haven't been to the movies for a long long time. Went to see Wonder Woman on Monday night. The good thing about getting old is getting "seniors" deals. First of all, we get in to all non 3-D movies for $6 but if we go on Monday night we get an additional discount and pay $4.80. How can I resist?
Wonder Woman had excellent reviews and for good reason. The story clips along at a fast pace and if it wasn't for the rock hard lousy uncomfortable theatre seats, I would have thoroughly enjoyed it. The story is easy to follow and although there is violence - she IS Wonder Woman - it fits with the story. We watch a little girl grow to become a powerful woman. There is romance, humour and of course, good over evil in the plot. I went with four others and we all enjoyed it. I give it 4.5 out of 5 Stars.
