Last couple of days it has been hot hot hot. Above is the temperature at 5:00 PM, not in the sunshine. My roofers had to go home early the other day because the shingles were melting onto their shoes. And no rain, which for me is quite good as I am getting new shingles, but it is not very good for the forest fires. The conditions are extreme.
Now, having said all that, one never knows if this is our Yukon summer and the rest of the days will be cold. It is forecast to go down to 13 degrees in a day or two. So to celebrate the warm weather, Nancy invited us over for a byo drinks and byo food evening in her back yard.It was lovely to sit outside on the lawn on a warm summer eve.
