Local artist Emma Barr had a new showing at the McBride Museum on Thursday. She is a friend of Brooke so we packed up the kids and went to see what paintings she has just created. Above is one of her larger paintings.
When it was my turn to look after the wee ones, I gave them both cookies and sat them in front of the large painting and we talked about it. Emerson saw a lake and mountains and Alanna concentrated on her cookie more than the painting and I saw red flowers and yellow flowers.
