May he RIP

I am shocked and saddened. A for the second time in about a month, a professional soccer player has collapsed on the field during a game with heart failure. Yesterday Italian footballer, 25 year old Piermario Morosini has died after suffering a cardiac arrest during an Italian second division game at Pescara. On March 17, Fabrice Muamba (English Premier League player) too fell to the ground with no one near him and doctors later said he had been "in effect dead" for 78 minutes while his heart did not beat on its own. He was revived and has gone on to make extraordinary progress in hospital. He is 24 years old.
The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), which confirmed Morosini had suffered a cardiac arrest, announced in a statement that all other sporting events taking place this weekend would hold a minute's silence, as has the Manchester United v Aston Villa game I am watching right now.

Unbelievable. How come this happens in sports? They are supposed to be fit and when you are fit your supposed to live longer and be healthier. I remember hockey players went through one of these stages, where players died of depression/suicide. hmmm. Interesting. j.
