Every year I write just a wee bit about the Yukon Quest. This year, the start line was in Fairbanks. Currently the lead teams are around Eagle, Alaska and heading toward Dawson City. If you wish to follow the race CLICK HERE .
This morning I awoke to the sad news that Buddy Tabor, who wrote a song about Mushing which plays every year around Quest time, succumbed to a three month fight with cancer. I didn't know him but sure did hear his song every year.
