The Royals at the McBride Museum

Got up early today to head downtown to once again - see the Royals.  Got there after a lot of other people but there was a small spot at the very front of the McBride Museum opened and I took it.  We waited and waited and then the sun rose over the mountains and blinded us. Not exactly excellent lighting for photo taking, but it was better than rain (or snow ... it was around 0°C).

Of course security was stiff.  While waiting we got to see the sniffer police dog in action.  He sniffed the bushes, the people, the camera cases, his tail wagging all the while.

And then they arrived.

Will and Kate were greeted at the road when they exited their vehicle.  They looked as gracious and smiley as every, Kate wearing a brilliantly red coat which made her easy to spot.

From the curb, they headed for the museum entrance.

A group of Boy Scouts were waiting to meet them.  It looks like someone told a joke as Larry Bagnell (Yukon's MP) as well as both Will and Kate are smiling.

Kate seemed to really enjoy those Boy Scouts.
