Saw this movie on Saturday night. Don't know if you can see from the above picture, but the cast is amazing - which is the reason I went to see this film. It is called Lee Daniels' The Butler because a movie by the title The Butler already exists - in silent movies! It is certainly worth seeing Robin Williams playing Dwight D. Eisenhower, Jane Fonda playing Nancy Reagan, along with a cast of greats, Vanessa Redgrave, Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack ... well you can read all the names yourself. This was a bit too long and I knew it was going to be an Oprah type movie (if you know what I mean) but all in all, it was very good. If you're into thrills and lots of action, do not go to this movie. If you are interested in black history this movie goes from the cotton fields of the south to Obama. I give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
