My view from the kitchen this morning ... the date is M A Y 11th! I have just spent 5 days in the yard spring cleaning. Painted my deck and wee porch. Raked. Cut down dead fall. Bagged 11 extra large compost bags and had them removed yesterday. Filled up the propane bottle so I could always be assured of a barbque flame. Ready to plant vegetable seeds in the garden. Ready for my first day on the links on Thursday. All ready for summer, then I awake to this.
I did worry that those geese I heard honking while flying in their 'V' formation overhead while I was spring cleaning would think that fall had arrived and turn around and head south again. I hope this is short lived.
