It doesn't matter how many years you live in the north, the Northern Lights are always a thing of wonder. They were brilliant last night dancing through the sky - drifting, fading, floating - in colours of green, pink, purple. They make -15 degrees worth it.

Wow - amazing - Funny, I don't remember ever seeing them when I lived up there - The hotel you will be staying in down here I think used to be the old Cambridge Hotel where there used to be parties. MJT
