It was Yukoners' Appreciation Day at the Wildlife Preserve today, so off we went. I had never been before and it was great. The 45 minute bus ride took us through the Preserve to see moose, caribou, dall sheep, goats, elk, musk ox, buffalo, and I'm sure others that have momentarily slipped my mind . There are over 700 acres for these animals to roam and the settings are similar to their natural habitat. It was entertaining and educational.
